...in the US, it is really hard to accomplish, thanks to
a lot of different factors and historical disparities that echo down to to the present day
(those disparities than echo in a chicken-and-egg style loop, making solving them even harder)

It would do better in the hands of the poor and middle class.

Not doing too much, I don't hate the rich tbh. Let them have millions and even billions.

But they can do with a bit less and poor and middle class people can do with more.

That sounds like a good idea on paper. However, that encourages the poor to stop working, as they get money either way. Even if not, it is a slippery slope. The rich stop working as hard because they're just getting their money taken away from them. Then nobody is working, nothing is getting produced, and the economy crashes. The only way that economy wouldn't destroy a country is if jobs were mandated by an authoritarian government.

for a top marginal income tax, your optimum rate is about 80 to 83%, while for capital gains taxes, it's from 38 to 47%
until you hit that, you're not going to start seeing the rich work less because of incentives-though they'll certainly claim it

..giving the poor more money, or boosting aggregate demand, is quite literally the cornerstone of the modern economy (though a Job Guarantee is an economically great idea anyway for other reasons)

As it turns out, your argument, which is also on paper for that matter, is not borne out by empirics. The Laffer Curve peaks somewhere in the region of 70%, which is far far higher than the effective tax rate for the upper class. By the way, that's not marginal tax rate.

Your poor person thing is just a variation on the usual argument that increased welfare increases the unemployment rate, which is not borne out by empirics. See this. Note that they're a right-wing libertarian think tank, so the fact that even they couldn't find any significant effect is pretty solid evidence.

Also, as Kowani mentioned, aggregate demand would permanently increase since the lower class has a higher marginal propensity to consume.

You might want to look up how 18 of the 25 wealthiest hedge fund owners are Jewish or how BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street-which are either run by Jews or include Jews in many if not most of their senior positions-have a majority stake in 90% of the S&P 500. We could also bring up how virtually all of the media and social media is either owned, managed or have Jews in most of their senior positions.

Take in note, Jews only compromise 2% or so of the U.S. population. Do you see an issue here?

First off Im pretty sure I answered that second question. The answer is yes, systemic bias still exists in American law enforcement and governance.

As for your second question, an oppressor is anyone who seeks to trample on the individual rights of others and their dignity. I know you probably thought I was gonna say "white people," but I'm not prejudiced against people for their skin color unlike a few of the posters here.
