How will you solve the problem though that the overhelming majority of people are, in your words, centrists or politically apathic and align with the system and its dominant ideology as long as their basic and other needs are somewhat satisfied by it?
If anyone could answer that, then leftism would have won out already. Occasionally there are crises when basic needs are no longer fulfilled, and radicals get a chance to break into the mainstream then.
