Speaking as someone who has a thing for Asian women (I wouldn't call it a fetish, but more an especially strong attraction), I personally think that they're just the most beautiful women, without caring about or buying into (at all) any of the stereotypes, except slightly the nerdy one (mostly because I'm a giant nerd myself). In fact, I loathe those stupid stereotypes with my entire being.

For me that's all it boils down to: attraction to the physical characteristics, but rejection of the demeaning stereotypes they all too often get associated with (and I'd want someone I was compatible with regardless, which none of the common stereotypes would work for me). I see nothing wrong with this. Of course, I also believe in rejecting all demeaning stereotypes from all peoples, so...

It ain't nobody's business what someone's motivations are, if no laws are being broken. People who're too nosy are usually told to "get lost" more often than not. After all, if the woman can't stand to be around a certain man, they'll voluntarily leave or break things off or vice versa with the man.

I'm not offended by race play in general in terms of fiction, although I don't believe that people should ever race mix on any serious basis.
