Well, it's not a surprise anymore and it's a well-known fact regarding the party. But as if you can guess, the FB Decision has enraged Trumpworld and the GOP, who are now threatening regulations. Trump seems increasingly likely to run again too, but if the ban remains in place, it will probably hurt Trump in a few ways:
1. His Fundraising would be limited as Facebook was a big fundraiser for him. He can try to do it through his own website but that could be limited.
2. It could limit his impact on elections & endorsements, showing that his reliance for Social Media to be viable is a must; we're already seeing some local races where people aren't hearing from him as much and that's effecting opinions and possibly eroding support.
Of course, this will cost Facebook Millions of dollars in revenue, but I do feel if Zuckerberg recognizes the danger- and that's iffy at the moment- then I think they'll take the lost in revenue.
This whole thing fascinates me.
Fun fact trumpets. You don’t have a constitutional right to a FB account.
What happened to all that privacy and personal property talk when it came to businesses?
The ex-president is a troll and with all trolls; the ban hammer must drop.
Well, that all disappears once it effects them- that's what we have learned of the current Republican Party: we'll let you operate the way you want until it affects us. Some have even gone as far as to label the Social Media Companies as "Bolsheviks" and "left’s woke mob".
