Black America is experiencing problems because black Americans largely live within progressive, leftist hellholes. These enclaves have been governed exclusively by Democrats for decades. Race, creed, color or religion doesn't matter when you introduce the cancer of socialism into a society.

California is the most impoverished state in America and it has a smaller black population than most states. Moreover, socialist North Korea, Cuba, former USSR, Venezuela, Cambodia, Eastern Europe, etc. suffered under far worse conditions than those experienced by blacks in America.

The bottom line is socialist ideology impoverishes because it crushes beneficial human action by defying human nature with control freak, collectivist, centralized tyranny.

Yeah everything you just said is ridiculously wrong. This is like when you blamed progressivism for Detroit losing jobs when the reality was big business knew it was far cheaper to make goods in China for slave wages than pay Americans decent money. The only way you'd keep GM in America minus protectionist legislation would be to literally cut workplace regulations out and pay Americans slaves wages too. So no, it isnt progressivism. If anything, it's a lack of actual progressivism that ruined the inner city, and if we implemented your ideas, we'd be putting up suicide nets around our factories like what they got in China.

You are lying. Nobody views number of citizens on welfare as progress, but progressives do view eradication of poverty as a good thing when good-paying jobs aren't available for the poor.

Conservatives cite progress based on the number of citizens working private sector jobs and independent.

Employment isn't always a good thing. Jobs where corporations pay you very little and have few benefits aren't jobs you should work in. It is tantamount to wage slavery.

The rest is pure ideological garbage.

Really, the whole existence of post-bubble Japan as a capitalistic hellhole where 20 year olds prefer to be hikkikomoris instead of wage slaves tells you all you need about capitalism's idea of "freedom".

We've never been down this path and I'm a little unclear on the rules.

Line of succession!

If the Speaker is also taken out of office, it goes to President pro tempore of the Senate, then the Secretary of State, then the Secretary of the Treasury, then the Secretary of Defense, then the Attorney General, then of the Interior, Agriculture, Commerce, Labor, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Transportation, Energy, Education, Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security and then the designated survivor.

There's no one in the line of succession after the Secretary of Homeland Security. "Designated survivor" refers to the person in the line of succession, the Secretary of HHS for example, who does not attend an event at which most or all of the rest of the line of succession will be in attendance, instead hiding in a bunker somewhere just in case some attack or disaster kills the entire rest of the government.

~ Sinking of South Korean ship

To Trump's watch:

Moreover.Trump gave Kim nothing. The same dynamic played out with Russia vis-a-vis Obama and Trump policies too.

Tfw Trump engages Kim on equal footing and gives him all the attention and praise he wanted, but somehow he gave him nothing.

Yeah explain to me how the president of the United States actively praising Kim is him giving Kim nothing, or even better just admit you voted for Kim Jong Un's boyfriend and actually are a friend of not only socialism, but the worst variant of Socialism on earth.

Oh, and cancelling joint exercises with South Korea.

Which, you know, kind of a big deal. In fact, the MAIN THING that North Korea wants.

I gotta say, maybe Trump was our least homophobic president. He straight up admitted to writing love letters to another man while his wife watched, and not just any man but a murderous dictator who killed his own uncle.

You'll still have to wait a while then, before you can blame Biden for anything!

Moreover.Trump gave Kim nothing.

That you think that, is really a tribute to the ability of officials in State, and the military, to keep secrets in the national interest, despite the enormous partisan urge to drop Trump right in it.

The CIA should have made something up though. North Korea stood down because mr. Trump asked them nicely?

You should just keep saying that. That you think it's perfectly plausible tells me others think that too. The more curiosity about this miracle by the then President grows, the more awesome will be the reveal.

T: So, Kim my man. Why do you want nukes so much?
K: Seems you haven't been briefed, like at all. North Korea has always been afraid of the US invading us.
T: But what about China?
K: China too, but they're not the ones asking. It's mostly America we are afraid of.
T: The South then?
K: Yeah, a bit. And before you ask, the Russians too. Did you make paper aeroplanes out of your briefing on the flight over?
T: That sounds a bit like an insult, Kim. I just want to know, why nukes?
K: We would probably lose, everyone knows that. But we'd like to sink a few carriers before we're done. Make you pay.
T: And Seoul? I've heard you want to bomb Seoul.
K: Only if we have to. No-one will try without you on their side. We will assume it's you, and sink your carriers.
T: Oh. That wasn't a joke then? I don't think you can.
K: Maybe. Maybe not. But you should know the risk before you send the carriers!
T: This isn't as. I dunno. Friendly as I hoped.
K: Sorry. The questions you ask though. I'll tell you what.
T: I'm listening ...
K: When we have great nukes and missiles, we won't need a huge army. Just a Coast Guard I think you say? And border guards.
T: And marching girls? I like the marching girls <sadface>
K: I like them too. I guess I will keep some of them.
T: For private parades, in your bedr--
K: Haha, locker room talk! You are so famous for it!
T: OK, now, it's true. A nuclear force means less military. It's not a secret. Russian and Israel know that too.
K: You understand me. My country's first directive is survival.
T: Self defence, we call it.
K: Like Japan? No? We would never be treated that way. Americans would not let us surrender. You would kill us all. Women and babies.
T: Gee, calm down Kim. Some Americans talk crazy shit, we let them. Free speech. But we don't want to kill anyone!
K: I can't afford to take your word for that.
T: I'm sorry. Really, sorry, it's terrible. History eh?
K: We want the best nukes we can get. And the best missiles. We want submarines. And space bombers.
T: Space bombers haha. That's not a real thing.
K: Anyway. Submarines are ... I think you say, world best practice? No-one will strike first.
T: Unless they're crazy
K: If we had just one submarine, with the missiles that launch from underwater ...
T: Um. Trident I think. Russians have a kind of that. For some reason they told me not to talk about Israel.
K: "Pivot to South Africa"
T: OK now I am worrying a bit. I am sure I read that. In my briefing.
K: You need to chill. It was only one page. It literally fell out when the door was open.
T: I don't believe that.
K: We have video. Door was open, before you came out. Paper fell out.
T: So you know about the paper aeroplanes too??
K: Mister president. I am not going to blackmail you. We fear your Media.
T: Yeah!
K: And I have a sister, I do so love her. But she can be, you say, a bit wild.
T: I know the one. Very popular in America.
K: If someone starts black mailing, it won't be me!
T: Understood. Submarines?
K: Yes. One submarine, not so good. Enemy finds it, or it needs repairs, no other submarines for a second strike.
T: I see you point.
K: Our nuclear program will be complete when we have two, or three, submarines.
T: Which could totally kill us if they all got close enough.
K: It's a two edged sword. Mutually assured destruction?
T: All this, "when" stuff is bothering me.
K: How do you mean?
T: You are absolutely determined, to work on nukes until you have ...
K: Several submarines with missiles, second strike for our armada of land missiles.
T: Well shit. Worse than I thought.
K: They told you "do not compromise with Kim"
T: Of course. But I know. I make deals. When I know what you want, I--
K: State what you want in exchange. Then the bargaining.
T: Yes. It may surprise you. I agree with your plan for North Korea.
K: Free up resources for better things, with a strong nuclear shield?
T: Yes, yes. It sounds great, but the submarines. I know they're --
K: A game changer?
T: Exactly. And we can't just give you American submarines.
K: I am not asking for them.
T: I thought. OK. It's the technology you see. So much technology in there.
K: Yes. I'll be honest. We do need technology.
T: Only some of it? The ... bubble thing for the missile to get to the surface.
K: We almost have that. No offence.
T: Guidance then. I really will need to ask ...
K: Your advisers?
T: Just one of them. Knows everything about submarines. Land missiles too.
K: How do you know we haven't kidnapped him already?
T: Don't you talk ... oh damn. Don't make jokes like that!
K: You know though. You're the Artist of the Deal.
T: Huh?
K: If you leave now and come back, the deal won't be so good.
T: The deal isn't good. You want nuclear technology for nothing?
K: Oh no. If I had good missiles for our next fleet of submarines ...
T: You said two or three.
K: But yes. It's a fleet of three. After sea trials, maybe just two.
T: Oh man, those sound like crappy submarines.
K: We're getting help from some other nations.
T: Oops. Still, nuclear tech of all things? For nothing?
K: Not for nothing, no. If we had good enough "tech" we wouldn't need to test.
T: But you'd still test missiles.
K: Maybe not.
T: Wait, I have to think about this.
K: No problem. I could have another can brought in?
T: Yes. No, I won't be that long.
K:
T: OK. I would consider a deal like Tridents, old ones, for you stop testing bombs and missiles.
K: Old ones? How old?
T: Uh. Generation. I'm not sure. Not the latest ones.
K: I'm not sure either. But missiles from around 1995 or 2000, maybe twenty of them?
T: You just need one, to copy the tech?
K: But with 20 we have quite good deterrent, as soon as they're. Installed, I guess.
T: I can see it. That's not even a full load for one of our subs.
K: It might be a long time before we "copy" those. Rare materials, right?
T: Right. Very rare.
K: And software. I guess it's super secret, but we will need some basics.
T: To boot it up. Make the lights flash.
K: Haha yes. You know our hackers are quite good. But ...
T: It might take a while, yes. We get that a lot.
K: Long development time.
T: Ready to fly, but no-one dares because the software.
K: Haha, yes. Our fighter program ... but never mind.
T: Sore point?
K: We don't really make fighters. Expensive! Guys with missiles, we have plenty.
T: I would worry if I were you. Submarines, can be tricky.
K: Not much margin of error, I know. If it didn't insult you ...
T: Yes?
K: I would ask for an old submarine too.
T: Yeah, I don't think so. Maybe buy one?
K: Maybe! But sanctions. You'd have to put in a word ...
T: French make submarines. They're probably OK.
K: But still. Expensive.
T: I can ask someone. "Losing" an old sub is a big favor though. Crew.
K: I can imagine. How about. Leave this open for later?
T: Yes. The amount of tech left in the missiles is up to me. How many, up to me.
K: That's fine.
T: There will be at least one war head, though ...
K: It's not guaranteed to work.
T: Yes, yes. More than one. But old, out of service. Sometimes the nuclear stuff shits out.
K: It's something about half life, right?
T: Yeah that. And in exchange. You stop testing, both, and never say why.
K: So you look good.
T: Uh-huh. Like I came here and asked you nicely, so you just stopped.
K: You look good, and I look like an idiot. But I really have to take it, don't I?
T: You couldn't get this deal from Obama. Such a goody-goody. I'm doing you an amazing deal.
K: You know, you're absolutely right. It's a good deal for both of us I think.
T: Shake?
K: Shake!

Why did you quote that like I said it? I was confused for a second when I struggled to remember saying that till I realized P&VE said it.

The Supreme Court has dismissed a challenge to the Obama era health care law, preserving insurance coverage for millions of Americans.

The justices, by a 7-2 vote, left the entire law intact Thursday in ruling that Texas, other Republican-led states and two individuals had no right to bring their lawsuit in federal court.

In a 7-2 decision, Supreme Court upholds the ACA.

I would have expected more conservative to vote against it, but I guess it would have been too harmful to massively strip people of healthcare while a pandemic is still going on...

The alleged conservatives Trump put on the court were just yes men. The only thing they were there to do was say Trump can do what he wants and that's it.

I would have expected more conservative to vote against it, but I guess it would have been too harmful to massively strip people of healthcare while a pandemic is still going on...

The alleged conservatives Trump put on the court were just yes men. The only thing they were there to do was say Trump can do what he wants and that's it.

Gorsuch has turned out to be much more moderate than expected. Barrett ruling to uphold it is even more surprising.

Because a lot of right-wingers don’t like it being pointed out that systemic racism exists.

I am a Cuban Hispanic, and I have never been discriminated in the USA. We don't need any CRT Crtical Race Theory Classes, what they actually teach is the USA in a racist nation which it is not. Just teach persons to respect each other and problems solved, you don't have to call it this biased negative name. The GOP is just as good and better than the Democrats: I can post more links if I wish too.

Because Trump didn't really care about this type of stuff. He's a shady con artist out for himself and as such wanted justices that would always allow him to do whatever he wanted, and not culture warriors.

I strongly disagree and we strongly disagree, this statement says it all. I don't need to say anything else.

Uh, and ? "I've never been victim X" doesn't mean "X is not a problem". Your own personal subjective experience does not prevent racism from existing. It's once again a situation where you've no idea what "facts" and "reality" mean and confuse it with your subjective impression and opinion.

A funnier man would have done a little simper.

How damn funny Trump was (to some people) is an overlooked aspect of his success. Luckily not many Republicans seem to have tried to imitate that, and would probably come across as obvious trolls if they did!

In a different universe, maybe he could have been a late night host or a stand up comedian, and not a shitty president who killed thousands of his own through his indifference and negligence.
