Yes. 58% of Americans have a negative view of CRT. While the Republican panic against it is dumb because it's taught in very few places to begin with it's not a popular thing.

Basically, things are no longer everything is burning and the person in charge is lighting the fires and is now closer to 99.99% of things are burning but the person in charge is not lighting the fires.

I think it makes good points about systemic racism and how power structures in much of the Western World were made with Whites in mind, but it could do with some modifications. Kowani's excellent effort-post showed what it is in detail, but the average human being doesn't care that much about details and will boil it down to oversimplification.

I haven't even had time to figure out what CRT is and why everyone is outraged about it.

Which means the Dems will go for it, as they always manage to fight the GOP in the worst ways possible.

It's been unnaturally hot for June here in Illinois, and unnaturally dry.

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/558 ... -next-week

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) is teeing up a key test vote for next week on a sweeping bill to overhaul federal elections.

Schumer started a fast-track process on Wednesday night for bringing the For the People Act up for a vote before the full Senate, where it's guaranteed to fall short of the 60 votes needed to defeat a GOP filibuster.

“This is the necessary step for Leader Schumer to move to proceed and file cloture on the voting rights legislation, which would then set up a vote on cloture on the motion to proceed to the bill next week," a spokesman for Schumer said.
