Oh, no doubt and fully understand that one is entitled to representation. I was merely trying to say to vass that in certain jobs, homicides can occur that will be determined to either be justified or unjustified as an on the job incident. Perhaps I was too pithy in my reply.

because minn. law has him serving the sentences for the other charges at the same time, the maximum sentences for the other charges (25 years
for third-degree murder and up to 10 years for manslaughter) don't matter unless he wins an appeal and the verdict differs

I am sorry but what? Even if new information comes to light there is nothing that is going to give that family peace of mind. Even if there where circumstances that somehow exonerated Chauvin, there husband/father/ brother/son is dead in police hands.
