And in this situation, this is a good thing.

Less discrimination is good no matter whom it is driven by.

It is good. But what isn't good is the trojan horse. The elite put most issues like this in the face of the common person to distract the common person from the fact they're being robbed blind.

The elite profess support for the LGBTQ community while picking their pocket.

Common people, including and especially members of the LGBT community, aren't getting a fair shot economically.

In my opinion, this is mostly faux progress, bourgeoisie progress.

While support for the LGBT community is a good thing, it's not enough when most members of the LGBT community, like most people, aren't being paid just wages.

We shouldn't be so easily satisfied with incremental progress in light of that. Plenty of people who belong to the LGBT community are in fact, poor people.

Do you really think that most people here supporting LGBT rights aren't aware of that?

More than 6 out of 10 Americans, or 61%, oppose allowing small business to refuse products or services to gay or lesbian people if doing so violates the vendors' religious beliefs, while 33% believe businesses should be able to deny services on religious grounds.

I wonder to what extent this actually is a matter of concern for LGBT people, and to what extent this is just a matter of people believing that religion should be absolutely subordinated to the whims of the state and/or consumer society

Or maybe religion just isn’t a good enough reason to discriminate against someone.

Should religious people be allowed to discriminate against race?

Meanwhile major media outlets insist the US is the least tolerant place ever to exist convincing millions of people it is factual.
