Outdoor Mask mandates Seem not to have effected covid #'s, Indoors did.
I have a couple of issues with the article, but it makes its basic point.

"Friends" ?
This may be a cultural thing, but when I'm feeling particularly close to my friends, I lean in. Doesn't matter if there's no-one nearby to hear, it just feels right to get close and speak softly.
Which I probably wouldn't do if I was wearing a mask. But that's my point. Wearing a mask changes the way we interact with people. Raising your voice, is usually not friendly.
Never mind. If the shape of your mouth is essential to your identity, then do your thing.

I don't like smearing my body with weird chemicals, but I don't mind so much when they're 80% ethanol.
Probably keeping a sugar cane farm in business.

When I happen to go outside, I usually bring a mask too. It just feels weird now without wearing or bringing one outside. The Huskar Social Union wrote:Vaccines cause people to magnetise now apparently. And its linked to 5G towers.

Cool, the age of quirks! I wonder what kind that I'll be getting once I get vaccinated
Speaking of vaccines, I heard that there is a free vaccination event in my uni. The problem is, the uni is located in another town and 'border checks' are tightening in some places. Not to mention the recent family drama *sighs*
Idk whether I should just wait for one in my own city or prepare to head to uni for one free AstraZeneca shot.

Just one dose? That's great. Even 80% full vaccination stopping the spread, would be quite encouraging.
I hear scary things about the new strains. A ratio of 6 means more than 80% herd immunity is necessary.

And 68% are fully vaccinated. Any sign of herd immunity is definitely promising though.

It seems like one of those things where you don't know you've achieved it until you see it in action.
Apparently San Francisco has an advantage because it has relatively few children, who aren't eligible for the vaccine yet as well. I don't know how that works for NYC or other cities in the USA.
Personally though, anywhere achieving herd immunity seems like a light at the end of the tunnel.

For me that moment was when I sat down inside a diner and had a bacon, Swiss and Mushroom omelet. It had been 14 months since I ate anywhere near inside an enclosed restaurant . It felt good.
