It won’t necessarily happen to you, remember that.

Either way, it’s not a common side effect unless your immune system gets too revved up by the vaccine. I have a history of insomnia so this bout may be a contributing factor along with the vaccine. There’s no reason to think you’ll feel this way too.

If you are worried and have any questions or doubts, talk to the person who’ll be vaccinating you. I’m sure they can give you more information.

But receiving government benefits depending on being vaccinated ? Then just do away with the "personal choice" aspect completely and make it obligatory.

You can view it as a payment to get vaccinated. Government pays people to do certain things all the time via the tax code anyway (and this stimulus was done via the tax code).

This ties into an idea I woke up to the other morning: imagine if legislation were passed that commands IRS to state, "to receive any federal income tax refund of any kind for tax years 2021-2029, including any refundable credits payable with no tax due, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory. Include a copy with your tax return. If you do not include a bona fide copy of such a document, IRS will accept your return but cannot issue any refund."

I also had another idea that could lead to universal vaccination: imagine if the United States were to announce that there is a nationwide vaccination target percentage and if it isn't met by a given date then there will be a nationwide "stay home, stay healthy" order for several weeks. I would take a guess that every business would take to any means possible to do whatever it takes to avoid that.

That's not normal. I dont think it's dangerous but you should see a doctor. You should have felt better after like 3 days at most. I believe that because you got covid before, getting two doses of the vaccine may have had some unnatural effects.

I regularly get Insomnia, so if I got it after my 2nd Moderna, I didn't notice it happen.

For the first night, but that was mostly because I had other symptoms reminiscent of a bad cold and stubbornly refused to medicate. The second night I dosed up on pain killers and fever reducers and slept like a rock. Woke up without any more symptoms. It was like a reset button.

My GP says it’s not unheard of. Particularly for women in my age group (35-45). It should clear in a day or two.

That’s good. I mean, we all react differently. I felt awful last Monday night (when I got the vaccine), and all of last Tuesday. By Wednesday the worst was over. By Friday, lymph nodes were back to normal. My only issues have been lingering fatigue/mental fog and Saturday and last night insomnia. My GP said it could take up to a week to feel ok for some people.

Honestly, as uncomfortable as it’s been, it wasn’t even close to how bad I felt when I got CoVID.
