He won't. He also won't answer any questions along the lines of "how many deaths is too many to justify keeping things open business as usual?"
He also ignored my cutting corners posts.
He also never answered any of my questions asking for suggestions as to what we do other than lockdowns and mask mandates.
What will he do? Reply to any post suggesting we lockdown for a bit or that masks are mandatory for now or that things shouldn't be reopened too fast with hyperbolic language insinuating you've suggesting that he should never be able to leave the house ever again unless Uncle Sam approves his 30 minutes of state-approved grocery shopping time.
He's a bit of a one trick pony. He constructed a straw man back in March of 2020 and has been beating the ever living shit out of it for a year now.

Indeed. A rinse and repeat approach. I had a passing thought he was also GMS as the posting style is similar.

I have to get on an airplane in August, even though we will all be vaccinated by then, we probably will wear kn95 masks on the flights. I kinda feel weird about it, but right now it feels like the right decision.

It was. Especially when you consider they canceled the ability to introduce fresh air in the plane. The money guys figured if they closed that off they can increase profits due to drag and fuel consumption. They basically turned a plane into an incubation tube.

I have always felt that way. But I was hoping to avoid flying

“When we get the country to be 70% to 85% vaccinated, and we get this blanket or umbrella of herd immunity so that the level of virus is so low in society that it's not really a threat to anybody, then we can start coming down on the stringency of the public health measures,” said Dr. Fauci.

I call bull, btw. No one is going to go around uninstalling the turbine compressor cabin air bleeder valves.
(Nor would it result in any appreciable fuel/drag changes, since the bleeder valves are inside the engine)

Abolitionism in the North has leagued itself with Radical Democracy, and so the Slave Power was forced to ally itself with the Money Power; that is the great fact of the age.

Well?....ok....might be a case of my foggy memory. This was a pre-covid thing years ago dealing with air circulation and infection.....anyway on circumspect probably not really relevant to covid.

Just so you know, cabin air is drawn from the compressor stage of the turbine engine via a bleeder valve that has a calibrated leak into the cabin. The cabin has a calibrated leak in the tail to let air out to keep the plane from becoming overpressurized. There's also a controllable bypass amount into a heat exchanger to maintain temperature appropriately (interestingly, despite the air being very cold up there, the difficulty is keeping the cabin from getting too hot, not too cold).
The air is roughly completely replaced about 20-30 times per hour (depending on the number of engines, size of the aircraft, and throttle setting - higher throttle means the air is replaced more rapidly, so it's more rapidly replaced on climb than descent, for instance) with outside air drawn from the plane's current altitude, which is generally cleaner than air at the surface.
It's a core function of the aircraft. It would be very expensive and, quite frankly, silly to change.
Just so you know. There's no change here.

hmmm. Ok. I wonder what I read or heard?
I remember it being something where it was claimed air circulation was reduced which increased infection rates as the air in cabin was recycled and passed around the plane. Obviously happens at higher altitudes....
Anyway. Like I said foggy memory......

You know hat I have been impressed by, the zoom orchestras. Not only does it take talent to do your part on your own with no backup, but it also takes talent to edit all those different parts together to make it sound like a good orchestra. Plus I get to enjoy it in the comfort of my home.

Soon. We are opening up vaccines to people 16 and older in about a week and that is a huge group of people. The various vaccine companies are working on testing younger and younger individuals. I can't remember which one but one of them has the data for 12-15 or is close to it. There likely will be some permanent changes. We may see people wearing masks during flu season, or like in China, when they feel sick/are travelling in large groups (airplanes, public transportation, busses). we will likely see more people working from home at least part of the time since that saves companies money.

Oh absolutely. Now that I have lived with the mask. It will be a permanent thing. If I am not feeling well, I will wear it.
People will ask and be told just a precaution as I am not feeling 100%.
I think I can make a wild assed assumption people will appreciate it.
