I consider myself an authoritarian socialist (of the non-Marxist/non-social democratic variety) and nationalist (non-ultraconservative/non-right wing 'populist').

Productivism doesn't constitute a ideology. It's a belief, sure, but it doesn't really meet the threshold of being an ideology as such.

It is a complex issue. Some communists call themselves democratic socialists (and even belong to democratic socialist political parties). My anecdotal observation is that, at least in certain cases, many of them simply believe that democratic socialism is less objectionable than communism. Now we have, at least in the U.S., a lot of social democrats (like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez/AOC) calling themselves democratic socialists. That is why I avoid the socialist label for myself.

Market socialism, advocated by certain members of the Union for Radical Political Economics, is a big tent. However, I would say that many (but not all) market socialists are basically social democrats (reformist capitalists).

Well, I think the poll has reached its outer limits. 290 votes as of this post, results have more or less remained the same since the last manual tally. There is a majority domination of socialism, liberalism, and environmentalism — which has remained consistent for a while.

All the feedback offered by others here has been a great help.

Just as a few "open-air" notes to myself:

• Some participants were frustrated by the lack of options, there being only 10 (this is the limit in the forum software settings itself)
• Addition of more options may be best in future more comprehensive polls, albeit not too much more
• Use of the forums to conduct more comprehensive polls would be (obviously) impractical, a different platform would have to be utilized (and a larger user pool)
• In future political polls, use of ideological terms should be avoided (a focus on general policy preferences may be better)

Provided there are no major changes in the results, this will be the last manual tally. Overall the results have remained fairly similar, although productivism has saw a slight increase, as well as conservatism, liberalism, and nationalism. Socialism remains dominant over capitalism but the latter still enjoys a sizeable amount of support. Socialism and liberalism remain the two most dominant supported ideologies, which may imply that among participants of the poll, there is considerable support for liberal socialist ideals. The main limitation of the poll is that there is no way to determine how many of liberals voted socialist, or vice versa — as with any other combinations. The poll results thus can only be treated holistically.
