I always wanted to visit one place in every state of the United States in one big round trip. I want the last stop to be in Alaska watching the Aura Borelias.

Everywhere. One of my dreams is to somehow have enough money to be able to take a few years and just wander all over the world. :)

Strange because everyone assumes Americans hate them. Yet in the six months our German exchange students were here, they surpirsed by two things:

1. How big everyone was. Not necessarily fat, just large.
2. How friendly most people were.

I'd love to climb to the top of Mount Saint Helens (I've only ever seen it in photos and from a far distance), visit Alaska, Hawaii, Italy (including Vatican City), Spain, Australia, Japan, Ireland (I'm part Irish, on my mother's side), and Poland (I'm part Polish, on my father's side).

I'd also love to re-visit the Seattle (possible, since I have 2 aunts that live in Washington State) Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, the Needles, Custer State park, and Deadwood (the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, the Needles, Custer State park, and Deadwood are likely, since I'm planning on going to South Dakota in 2010 for a family reunion).

Gun control is like trying to solve drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to own cars.

the thing is i want to know where people like me want to go. I usually come up with odd places that seem interesting to me like.

Seattle, Washington
Nome, Alaska
Okeefenokee Swamp, Georgia
Bismarck, North Dakota
New Orleans, Louisiana

I dont know why but these places always just pop off the map when i see them. what places are you dying to see?

good choices.

well except for bismark. in my experience there is nothing worth seeing in north dakota...odd since south dakota has may great places to see.

im sort of planning to go to japan next spring. so ill say

mt fuji.

I like North Dakota and Alaska just because their so undeveloped. Its like seeing the world how it was before humans took over. and I love Georgia and Louisiana they have beautifull people, buildings, and nature

In no particular order: Tokyo, Berlin, Havana, Tunis, Leptis Magna, St. Petersburg, The Chilean coast, the Swahili coast, Beirut, Ghana, Spain, Crete, Basseterre (again), St Vincent and the Grenadines, Dawson City, Denmark, Vienna, Paris, Hong Kong, Beijing, Viet Nam, Cambodia....I'm sure I could sit here and rattle off fifty more.

I am dying to see places to die.

The necropolis behind the National Cathedral in Glasgow was impressive.

I would like to see the steep cliffs of the Yangtze River where they hang corpses inside wicker baskets, dangling over the edge of the cliff.

I would also like to see a "sky burial" in Tibet, where they expose the body to birds.

Not really. IF you listen to the people on the general sure. However, people in general don't mind you if you try to be nice. I have been many places and even the ebul French were polite. Especially, when you show an interest in their ways and make an effort to try things.

Vatican is worth a trip to Italy. But if you do go, plan for extra time. Tuscany, Venice, Florence, Nice.....

A supermassive, rotating black hole. It would most likely be a literal "dying to go there," but it would ultimately and forever settle the questions of Einstein-Rosen bridges, links to other universes, and the existence of white holes in a completely conclusive manor. If only I could go inside one and escape. Se la vi.
