How are the Kuomintang terrorists? Do you know they were the first party established shortly after the 1911 Revolution by Dr. SUN YAT-SEN himself, you know, the same man that the CCP praises as the "Forerunner to the Revolution"?

Same as with Hong Kong, fortunately they have put down the CIA/NATOid insurrectionists.

Evidence? Or did you read that from r/Sino, the Reddit propaganda arm of the CCP? Man, I wish the CIA were actually as powerful as tankies say.

The """""genocide"""""" in Xinjiang is only real in the minds of those who are the political equivalent of drainage sewer hobos that are are all the assorted neocons, liberal interventionists and Sinophobes foaming at the mouth at this near-pornographic fetish for a war with China.

Xinjiang genocide denial has been repeatedly debunked, whether by the ICIJ, the New York Times, Darren Byler, a leftist, or The freaking Intercept, etc.

Rooting out separatist elements from among the local population is not genocide.

And the War on Terror only kills terrorists. Lmao.

Answer: The CCP is wrong

Postby Conklandi » Fri Mar 05, 2021 8:26 am

The CCP is wrong.

It has overseen systematic destruction of Uighur dignity and culture via "reeducation camps", which have credible reports of rape, abuse and human rights violations on 1 million people.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-55794071

Now, I can hear the potential rebuttals to this:
"This is false. Western media has fabricated everything in order to make China look bad."

Well, there are a couple of problems that this has:

1. If this is an attempt to make the CCP look bad, why did the same media organizations publish articles about events that would make the "Western World" look bad?

One example is the NSA leaks that had shown that US departments had collaborated with European governments to create a global surveillance program.

Now if the leak happened in an autocratic nation, the whistleblower would have disappeared from society and everything they said would have been declared false.

However, despite the American government attempting to prosecute Edward Snowden, many media outlets had published stories on it.

This is an example that shows that despite how tentative press freedom is, governments tend to respect it.

This is shown by many Western countries having laws that entitle freedom of expression (e.g. The European Convention).

In contrast, it has been stated

That is one objection I have to the arguments presented for it.

If anyone would like to give criticism about my argument, I would be happy to listen to it.

This again. How can a land that has never been under the PRC's control with a government that has never had any association with the PRC be a rebellious province? What kind of Anschluss imperialist logic is this that land you covet but don't own is a "rebelling territory"?

If anything the CCP is the rebellious terrorist organization currently illegally occupying Mainland China. The ROC never renounced it's claim on the mainland. Long Live the True, Free China in Taiwan.

Also he apparently isn't aware that the Kuomintang don't even control the ROC anymore and are now pro-CCP shills.

Many of you dislike the Chinese Communist Party, but do you think that everything they do is always wrong?

Because they do have results to show, namely how poverty has decreased immensely in China, and how they are one of the few political parties in the world with a strategic worldview (the belt and road initiative for example).

The social credit system sounds draconian, but how many of you drive by a broken neighbourhood and think "the government should really do something about this"...well, they are doing something about it.

I also admit that some of their internal security mesures seem...a bit excessive.

But I leave the question anyway, how right or wrong do you believe the CCP is?

"Poverty has decrease immensely in China..." yeah because they set the poverty line so low. That is like saying a place has very little crime, but it is because there are very few laws.

"Strategic worldview..." ...of eventual global domination? Yay?

" some of their internal security mesures seem...a bit excessive." More than "a bit excessive;" they want total control, and they are on the path to it.

Are tryanna write propaganda for China or something? Or were you just lying about the "this is not a flaming or trolling attempt"?

Technically speaking, Taiwan lays claim to the entire mainland. Not necessarily of their own accord, if Taiwan drops those claims they're saying Taiwan is a separate country, which Beijing would not take kindly to.

the funny thing is Mao's ghost is looking at modern China and saying "no no no, this isn't right at all!" But Chiang is looking at it and going "yo this slaps, I shoulda been a communist all along"

No one can get everything wrong. Stopped clock and all of that.

But the CCP puts Muslims in camps, is the biggest world wide polluter, have very little gay rights, jails any pro democracy protesters, and generally be a shitty group of people.

They also are way too capitalistic to be commie so they aint commie.

The only reason why I don't want to invade and let Taiwan liberate the mainland is beacuse nukes would fuck everything up.

Quite possibly their policies and tighter grip on things like social media and internal discipline will allow the country to cope better with the challenges of this century than the West as it stands. If this transpires then there may be a utilitarian argument that their way of doing things was superior to ours. I'm not sure I'd like to live under it, and I rather hope that we manage to find a path to something more functional than our current system and less inhumane than theirs.

The PRC is the legal, internationally recognized, legitimate government of China and has been so since the '70s, which is also around the same time international law started to be weaponized by dictators, Islamists, and leftist bigots alike to isolate and single out Israel for decades. This is why international law is a joke and the UN can go fuck itself. What has the UN ever done for Hong Kong, ethnic Uighurs, Rohingya, Tibetans, or the Chinese people, or LGBT people in Chechnya and Uganda? Fuck all.
