I like to think Philadelphia is a queer and trans haven, but like even hate crimes can happen there. And if you go out to rural areas, there's some hateful enclaves. I live in the suburbs rather than Philly itself, but I went there for a few pride events, including outfest, and of course the Planned Parenthood in center city's gayborhood is where I started HRT, even if for one appt I had to drive 3 hours from my college, but it's much less further to drive from home, and now I don't even go there in person because it's still telehealth.

I'm glad it's a bit easier for trans people to get the care they need, it's not perfect, especially with surgeries rather than HRT, but informed consent is how most medications work anyway.
