After further research, introflection, and consideration I have changed my stance on homosexuality as a sin.

It is not.

At least, not in accordance to the Bible or my own personal beliefs. Any anti-homosexual rhetoric in Christianity stems from either traditionalism/culturalism/revisionism (which I believe has driven the religion away from Christ's teachings) or the now superseded Old Testament. The most sinful homosexuality can get is in equivalence with heterosexuality: Fornication. And if heterosexual marriages outside of Church officiation are considered valid enough to not incur the sin of fornication, then it becomes doubly important to allow homosexual individuals to marry as well.

This is definitely a very strange take for sure. But yes, I believe it is critical from a religious standpoint that homosexual individuals be allowed to marry. And thus there can be no justification for homophobia.

As long as it does not translate into laws or actions against homosexual individuals, it does not need to be justified. An individual can dislike or fear a particular group of people and simply maintain their distance from them. While they will miss out on the experiences inherent in meeting those people, that is their loss and needs not be subject to scrutiny except by them.

Gay people are not a political entity. There is no gay lobby, no gay nation, no “American Gay Party” in politics. Saying gay people can be authoritarian is absolutely besides the point - because gay people do not represent a political bloc. We don’t all raise gay kids, go to gay church, and read the gay Bible. There’s no Gay doctrine that guides us. No umbrella organization to which we belong.

Whether or not individual gay people have authoritarian tendencies is irrelevant, because gay people are 1.) Not monolithic, and 2.) Do not hold political power.

Even if we did hold political power though, to suggest that we are authoritarian for demanding respect and decency is outrageous.

Conservatives employ the authoritarian trope as a fearmongering strategy, to scare people who are neutral about the subject into fearing THE GAY AGENDA(TM). Because they know science, reason and human decency are not on their side when they try to make their plays to take away basic human rights from minorities such as the LGBTQ community.

So initially I thought you were referring to Tundra. Thats what I meant by "he".
However I read a little closer and concluded that you're referring to people whom you're opposed to.

You imply that everyone on that side hates LGBT people and believes they dont deserve rights. I'm inclined to believe this is untrue for a good chunk of this crowd.

Additionally, "I disagree with you" is an under exaggeration. There is very obviously more nuance to how you react to the other side. You view the other side as hostiles, hateful bigot nazis etc., this is pretty obvious.
