What I’m saying is that instead of spending a lot of money on feed and vaccines and shit you can grow vast more amounts of meat form that animal in a vat for cheaper (once it becomes common place), making the meat cheaper than naturally grown meat.

It may be cheaper but it does not have all the good nutrients you get from a animal that eats what it wants to and sleeps when it wants to, so basically a free animal is better then some science created one. We can't just play god anymore we have to accept that he is better then thee. And I also know there are people out there who believe in something else and then there are those who don't believe in anything and I am not against any of you I am simply expressing my opinion through the freedom of speech. Alright, there it is.

That's not what lab meat is. There is never a "complete" animal during the process.

Or we can accept that "he" probably doesn't exist, or at least not in the form that folk conventionally think "he" exists.

Farms are really important.
The North Sea People's Republic, colloquially known as Northaria, established in 1421 A.D. (current constitution: 2022).
A multiethnic Northern European nation with strong democratic and anti-feudal traditions, now building socialism.
We use NS stats, with the exception of tax rates and the related stats. The Northarian population is roughly 88.5 million as of last census.
Member of the Atlantic Defence Agreement and the Arctic Council, current president of the Western European Union.
I reject anything and everything political that I posted on here prior to 2019. She/her, please, I am not a guy.

I don’t care that I’m able to live due to it’s ability to sustain me, because living in these conditions is not nearly as fulfilling as it could be.
It has subjected humans to unnatural conditions- agriculture has existed for something like 2% of human existence compared to the 98% of our existence being hunting and foraging.
Before agriculture, we quite literally could do anything we wanted. We had control over our lives, a connection to the land, nature provided everything for us, we lived the life we were designed to live.

That may be what it sounds like to you but life back then was never quite safe you could die then at any minute. Also if you want to go back to that time why are you using screened technology?

No doubt stone age living is uncomfortable. By age 40 you’d be lucky to be still alive.
Is that such a bad thing?
Do you HAVE to live a long life? What benefit is there?
Back in the stone age, we didn’t even have a concept of time. We didn’t care to live long.
We lived a full life in our prime, and died when our body began breaking down, living and surviving being harder and harder.

Ah yes, 35 year life expectancy, living in caves and crude huts, all time and energy devoted to making sure you don't starve, must be quite a life. Tell me, why aren't you out there living that wonderful life right now and instead using creature comforts of technology and civilization to argue about it with people?

I've volunteered to work at several animal sanctuaries that rehome farm animals. I understand and appreciate the labour, as its the career path I want to follow.

These conditions are tolerable enough, and I have considered hunting and foraging. But simply, there are too many laws that prevent this. Most neo- hunter gatherer tribes have to live on land they own themselves.
