Not very, no. Mike Pence had to break a tie when Betsy DeVos was up for confirmation as Secretary of Education plus another 12 times. Kamala Harris has cast a two such votes already. Joe Biden cast none.

barely related, but it kind of reminds me of this thing i saw about a man who was on trial for weed-related offenses and started smoking in the courtroom, which sounds really dumb but now that i look at an article about it it was actually in protest (civil disobedience? imagine knowing what terms mean) regarding legalization and not just a Florida Man tier move.

So I'm looking at the proposal from the senate regarding the phaseouts being reset from 75k-100k to 75k-80k, and double that for married filing jointly.

For a married couple, two kids, nuclear family, going from 150,000 to 160,000:

$2,200 in income tax

Total effect: $9,065, or still a 90.65% effective tax rate

(This makes sense when you consider it's just doubling everything from the example above)

For a married couple with three kids, same 150 to 160:

$2200 in income tax

I don't support killing innocent persons, women and children. But I don't see any persons condemning the persons who place women and children on target sites, so their enemies will not or might not attack their camps, a common practice by many persons.

I don't know or I am not sure who made the call, I wonder if the call stating their were women and children at the site, was deliberate in hopes Biden would call of any attacks on their camps.
