Maybe things will change once AG James's report comes out but the best we can likely hope for is he decides not to run for reelection.

Oh he will. The best thing to hope for is something that sticks to his shoe or for him to be voted out.

He'll still run, if he won't resign he'll try to push forward and try to fend off any primary challengers, really the best hope is either a Dem challenger and if that doesn't work *gasp* the GOP candidate.

No, I don't think the minority should have the ability to obstruct legislation. Get rid of the fillibuster
Mr. Smith's time in Washington came and went.

why not?

Because they already lost. It's a waste of everyone's time in a democracy.

All of which need Congressional approval, with the second currently in the Senate.

A primary is the only way to get him out. Hes not going to lose a general election and if he dragged down vulnerable remembers of the state legislature he wouldnt care. This is a man who propped up a de facto Republican majority in the state senate for years when Democrats had a numerical majority due to several caucusing with Republicans.

Because math is hard. And no one cares what the rest of the bill says.

I disagree. it worked well in the old days. You can't talk anymore and the bill gets voted on. I don't see how that could be objectionable.

Can Republicans just admit publicity they hate democracy and would rather have a one party state where only they are legally allowed to govern?

But will he? No, because he's not fighting. Just like he didn't fight for the $15 dollar minimum wage and capitulated to an unelected senate parliamentarian. We're being duped.

And you're surprised about this? We saw this coming from the moment he won the nomination.

No I wouldn't. Id like to have free and fair elections where gerrymandering is illegal and anyone who is citizen over 18 years old and registered can cast a vote without any interference and to have that vote counted.

Our elections are neither free nor fair anyone until we get a PR system.

And what are you doing to get it? Nothing. Get a referendum on the ballot.
