No, you don't. If you actually cared about violence, you'd want the camps closed.
I said I condemn the right wing violence and the leftist violence by those certain ones who have done so on both sides. So I do care about the question I asked and answered, that you have not answered and no one has answered, or hardly anyone?
Your goal is to draw some "both-sides" moral equivalence, which doesn't exist.
I will add to my original post. I stated, I once saw an interview on a Spanish News Channel where they interviewed a Central American Lady, she said they don't care if they send their kids illegally to the USA by themselves, like on the roof of that famous train. So lets send the kids back to their nations of origin with their parents where they belong and close the camps and cages of kids and adults and problem solved. Care about your kids.
Ask yourself why. What would make a parent do something like this? The answer is a hope for a better future. As much as we have declined and as unjust as our systems are, we remain the hope for a better life for many around the world. And the notion of accepting these people is central, inseparable from our national identity and myth. As much as Germans once were, Irish once were, Chinese once were to a greater degree, rejected by anti-American nativists, we have a duty to do better. The great cause of our nation is to accept all who dare to hope and dream of a better life, not to slam the door, forgetting that our forefathers were once foreigners too. We are immensely privileged to be Americans and it is our duty to let them partake of and contribute to our great bounty.
