the more and more people talk shit about automation, the longer i wait for the obvious: why not legislate against further automation?

Because automation is ultimately how we escape having to slave for the Man 40 hours a week in order to survive.

We just have to get rid of this attitude that people don't deserve to survive if they don't slave for the Man for 40 hours a week.

Unfortunately what happens instead is jobs get automated and then people become obsolete and get left to die.
