I think woke is a fuzzy concept. There are definitely wokestremists out there like the people who keep trying to redefine racism so that black people can't be called racist, but then there's legit stuff thats often called woke like pointing out the uncomfortable fact that alot of Americans still don't like black people or mexicans.

People naturally don’t like each other too much. Moreover a lot of states (read, especially the ones in continental Eurasia) try their best to exacerbate and perpetuate ethnic hatred. This is not inherently a huge problem. Stuff such as poverty and military weakness are though. Serbia-and-Croatia isn’t a huge problem because Serbs are not that poor compared to Croats.

Trolling (e.g. “exterminate humans! Cats rule!”) should be legal. However when a genocide is indeed likely, let alone happening this is a different story. So for example someone in South Korea or United States calling for Japan to be depopulated is fairly harmless since it’s not going to happen. On the other hand calling for mass murder of Armenians in Nargono-Karabakh or Muslims in Europe is more dangerous.

Personally, I blame the rise of social media for the rise of both wokism and its evil twin, the Alt-Right.

Boiling both phenomena down as equivalent outgrowths of the same technology is a remarkably shallow analysis.

I said "rise", not "creation". Neither movement would have the same societal gravitas they have today without the help of social media. They would still exist - just like the more traditional political movements before them - but with much less prominence and pull.

Your example on the Iraq War concerns foreign policy - a topic on which I find web activists of both sides to be strangely, almost provincially indifferent, ethnic costumes at halloween parties in the US apparently being a bigger concern for some SJW than the PRC running concentration camps for its ethnic minorities.
The Alt-Right seems to be more vocal about foreign policies, altough their ideas usually revolve around immature power fantasies like building an imaginary Deus Vult alliance or hero-worshipping Putin or what have you.
Other than that, both sides seem to vent their rage almost exclusively on domestic issues, which makes it doubly non-sensical when they import their soapbox narratives straight from a country like the US to a country like Germany or France.

That depends on your own demographics. A white West European anti-colonialist is likely a principled social liberal. On the other hand those in formerly colonized areas who support these stuff are likely ethnonationalists who in a normal society should be classified as far-rightists. Only those who are willing to disavow oppression by their own ethnic group and the ethnic group of their spouse (if different from their own) can be classified as good world citizens as opposed to hypocritical ethnats.

Support for feminism is always good regardless of one’s own gender and sexuality since a female-dominated society is less violent. A high dose of mandatory, race-independent, ethnicity-independent feminism is a very good antidote to abuses such as social far-rightists repackaging themselves as allies of social liberals simply because they are not European. Maybe men from patriarchal societies need to be required to show submission to women, both native and foreign, if they ever want to enter a genuinely liberal country.

Being honest is a sucker's game from my experience. It rarely if ever benefits anyone. Deceit isn't always good, but it doesn't necessitate you revealing too much either. People aren't supposed to be honest on a resume for example, they're supposed to craft the best representation for why they're a true fit for the job advertised. It is selling themselves well as opposed to casting any doubt or insecurities or other nonsense that might make someone look to someone else's more appealing pitch instead.
