There are militant Buddhists in it, they definitely love militarism considering they are the military, and they’re authoritarian, so you could make the case they might

Do you support the coup?

I wouldn't say that extreme to be Fascist, but more or less an extreme conservative military junta.

Which is why I said they might be, I’m not too familiar with their economic theory if they have one, because fascism requires corporatism to some form, otherwise they may just be traditionalist auths

At the moment, no, mainly due to the sheer amount of corruption in the Burmese military

Without knowing the current views of the military leadership, historically Myanmar has been ruled by a socialist military dictatorship before the 8888 Uprising, and most of the leaders of the last junta (State Peace and Development Council) had served under the socialist government. So it's not impossible that they have some Marxist influence, even if imbued with isolationist and Buddhist beliefs.

The Military knows what Communism and Socialism has done to the Nation, so they went to the other side on the Political Scale. They might want to be Socialist and/or Communist, but they certainly will not employ it on the Nation.

There's also a genocide too. To be honest, I do not think Myanmar will ever be truly democratic. I'm anti-coup, but the status quo won't change much in places like this.

You've got it backwards, that says that hundreds of Burmese politicians have declared themselves the sole legitimate government and are encouraging sanctions against the military. Basically a government-in-exile except they're still in Myanmar.

Please don’t try to make traditionalism look better than what it should be. Thanks!

Unlike Communism, Nazism is internally more stable and doesn’t fall on its own. Instead it has to be removed from the outside.

They're not traditionalist, the dictatorship of Ne Win destroyed much of local Burmese cultures, such as removing the hereditary chao pha as well as the historical autonomy of the Shan State.

I think you know that I dislike traditionalism even more than communism since at least communism is a newer and more explicit ideology which makes it more predictable and easier to remove.

Whether they are traditionalist is irrelevant. I just don’t want traditionalism to ever look good.

Do pray for the people. But pray that the tyrant leader gets what she deserves. There are no excuses for Genocides. No matter what the motives. Even if its my own brother who is doing genocide. There is no justification for it.
