It's already illegal to be classified as a "pattern day trader" if you have less than $25,000US in your securities account - a rule designed to freeze average people out of the market. Wouldn't be surprised if we see perhaps an extension of this rule or a modification, as the current system allows for three "day trades" every five days. Probably will be changed to one or zero.

They're going to have to share the stock market with these plebeians trading equally with the financial elite and they're going to have to do so knowing that every time the normal people win that money is gone, because unlike the rich financial class when Main Street gets money they actually spend it, sure some of the winners will reinvest but for the most part they have practical things to use their stock winnings on.
