I'm sure the state's gonna do that, but they're gonna have to do so really quietly or Occupy's coming back twice as hard

I'm amused that in NS, amongst liberals and conservatives, authoritarians and libertarians, there's broad agreement:
Hedge funds suck, and they're getting what was coming to them.

Considering there were over 38 million calls today, more than ever in recorded Wall Street history, it's clear Wall Street is being occupied and that's likely what they're really upset about with all these casual traders on the market it's going to destroy their carefully ordered systems.

The Invisible Hand is not only visible, it's a bourgeois pet and that strangles the proletariat. Some people managed to get it to nip its owner today, but it's not our friend.
What happened today demonstrates that the will of the people can overpower the Invisible Hand with ease. We can do great things with class consciousness!

It is tough to find people who possess a conscience defending hedge funds. You gotta have a loose moral code to be some slimy hedge fund jackass.

Especially since the guy who is in charge of the main hedge fund getting fucked over has himself been suspected of benefitting from insider trading. What was that quote about reaping the wind again?

Look how easily direct action can disrupt capitalism!
So the CCP won't let me be or let me be me so let me see, they tried to shut me down on CBC but it feels so empty without me.

What's happening is that if enough of the proletariat grab the strings behind the hand they can make the hand dance according to their whims and not the whims of the bourgeois.
And now the bourgeois in question are losing and are shocked and outraged because the hand was supposed to be their pet and their pet alone.
Quantity is a quality of it's own.

The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everyone else, and nobody was going to bomb them. At Rotterdam, London, Warsaw, and half a hundred other places, they put their rather naive theory into operation. They sowed the wind, and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.

Look at how afraid they are, more and more of the people are realizing that if all the money is in wall street then they have no choice but to go in there and drag some of that wealth back out at the rich's expense.
They're going to have to share the stock market with these plebeians trading equally with the financial elite and they're going to have to do so knowing that every time the normal people win that money is gone, because unlike the rich financial class when Main Street gets money they actually spend it, sure some of the winners will reinvest but for the most part they have practical things to use their stock winnings on.
