Hahaha...whose the ninja now?

I mean...I didn't include a link, so...whatever.

Also, watching them do the weird stand in the hallway and now walk two by two is just strange. Though after the last four years, go ahead and go all in on the formality and decorum weirdness. Turns out it's better than the alternative.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

GM and Toyota have also developed non-cobalt batteries.

Oh, good for them (although if I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say "Musk didn't give a timeline" I would be richer than Crassus)

now it's just the supply of lithium and every other rare earth that I have to worry abt :p

The rare earth metals are out, and it's not just Musk, it's just that dude sucks up the oxygen so it was easiest to find the article about his battery because I couldn't remember the name of the GM battery or I think there's one called REEE, which is just an internet nightmare to google. Lithium I think is not far behind. Though there are some diehards still holding out for hydrogen fuel cells to not be more trouble than their worth, but they've been saying that since the 90s.

But the Toyota Mirai...is that right? Ooo. first try. That car still exists, as does the BMW 7 Hydrogen. There's a supercar maker who's making 300 supercars and someone made a Le Mans racer that did a lap at Le Mans last year with aims to compete in their experimental slot soon. So maybe it won't be BEV but fuel cell EVs. Kinda doubt it, I think organic battery tech will advance faster than hydrogen and fuel cell is still a vehicle you have to fuel, but it's faster and if you want more range just make the tank bigger.

I'm pretty sure this is the first time something like this has been established, though I'm sure several presidents have started advocacy groups akin to the stated goals of this... office.

Zavala added the Biden administration’s executive orders and directives “have given us a new sense of hope that asylum seekers of all backgrounds will no longer be subjected to such undignified treatment caused by harsh immigration policies like MPP and fear of deportation.”

Abdiel Echevarría-Cabán, a South Texas-based immigration attorney who is also a human rights law and policy expert, told the Blade that he has several LGBTQ clients — many of whom are Cuban — in Mexico under MPP who have been waiting for their asylum hearings for more than a year. Echevarría-Cabán, like Zavala, welcomes the new White House’s directives.

“MPP is clearly a violation of human rights and U.S. domestic immigration law,” Echevarría-Cabán told the Blade. “Now we can expect a better outcome under Biden’s new policy.”
Biden immigration policies ‘restore humanity, dignity’

Other immigrant advocates have also welcomed the Biden administration’s actions.

“The fact that our new president is taking a stand against the awful immigration policies that the previous administration left us with is a great deal,” TransLatin@ Coalition President Bamby Salcedo told the Blade on Friday from Los Angeles. “Having put a moratorium to stop deportation is a step in the right direction.”

“In addition, having a bill ready to send to Congress on the first day is a great deal,” she added. “It is giving hope to the over 11 million people who live in uncertainty every single day.”

The Organization for Refuge, Asylum and Migration is a Minnesota-based organization that works with LGBTQ migrants and refugees around the world. Jardín de las Mariposas, an LGBTQ migrant shelter in the Mexican border city of Tijuana, is among those with which ORAM has partnered.

“Above all, President Biden’s new immigration policies restore humanity, dignity and a common-sense approach to immigration which will have a positive impact on LGBTQ migrants and asylum seekers both in the U.S. and around the world,” ORAM Executive Director Steve Roth told the Blade on Thursday.

Altagracia Tamayo is a lesbian activist in Mexicali, a Mexican border city that borders Calexico, Calif., in California’s Imperial Valley. She runs the Cobina Posada del Migrante shelter.

Tamayo on Thursday told the Blade that more than 70 migrants who currently live at the shelter have been forced to return to Mexico under MPP.

“We are hopeful that he (Biden) will keep his word,” she said.

Pretty much what the Clinton Foundation was. Though were remember what happened when Trump tried to run a charity last time.

Carter, of course, just out there building people houses.

Instead of instituting the Stewards of Gondor, the plaintiffs say having a court make up a new system of government was perhaps "heavy-handed and overly punitive." Instead, they now want a judge to take away basically all of the powers of the current government.

Further complicating this process is Counsel’s intense amount of sleep-deprivation, having to do the work of

apparent act of vandalism at his home where someone stuffed bundles of wood and garbage into the drain sewer

Does he realise that by running the 'Office of the Former President' he is, in fact, conceding that he is no longer the elected President?

Gotta deal with the Senate bullshit first unfortunately, it seems.

And it doesn't seem like we're gonna get the filibuster gridlock removed any time soon thanks to people like Sinema, Manchin, etc. Because McConnell will use it as a tactic just to oppose anything good to come.

Nonono. Q says he's just letting Biden think he's the President until March the 4th, because apparently that makes sense in the clown world these people live in.
