I’d love to see the reaction of most Israelis, Nordicists and Japanese nationalists about this.

This is really what typical Romance speaker or Sinic forms of nationalism looks like. People above on the other hand won’t like these things.

Not as simple as that. At the minimum, the US needs to make sure that immigrants will subscribe to what the country stands for (democracy, pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness, etc.). If this particular person has designs to install an authoritarian government within a few decades or otherwise undermine its government, he should not be there in the first place.

Edit: Yes, many hardliners use that excuse to mask their true intentions, which is what you said.

What shall America do about African Americans then? You know very well what assimilation takes: it is not only cultural but also inevitably biological. Yet Germanic forms of ethnonationalism views intermarriage more taboo than people living in the same neighborhood or country.

You have a very strange idea about where the Overton window is here.

It is a fair question. I would actually favor immigration treaties that would allow citizens of different nations to work in the USA as long as US citizens can work there. It works fairly well in the EU. It should be between nations with similar incomes first (ex. the USA and Canada and Argentina and Chile and possibly Mexico if they secure their southern border).

I just dislike the idea that the USA has to accept everybody but many nations make it hard for Americans to move and work there. It is pretty easy for a French citizen to move to Germany and work there. It is not so easy for a US citizen to go to Germany and work there. It is possible but definitely not as easy.

The immigration treaties might also build better relationships between the nations.

Which hands those organisations over to the PRC, thereby basically guaranteeing that Taiwan will never be part of them so long as the PRC is the biggest powerhouse in that organisation.

If the USA really wants to get Taiwan included in those organisations, waiving its influence to those organisations is not the way to go. It's better off levying its influence to pressure those organisations into including Taiwan, and forming a coalition to push for greater inclusion of Taiwan in those organisations (or if it somehow has the influence necessary, making its own version that includes Taiwan and trying to encourage more countries to join it not the other organisation).

Maybe though I don’t think it will change much. Segregationist cultures will remain segregationist, albeit more polite. Germany and Japan are still going to be Germany and Japan lol. Moreover the most interesting and technologically most advanced cultures are usually pretty segregationist..

The World Health Organization should be mature and not play politics. This is a HEALTH organization and not a military organization. Why don't they care about Taiwan citizens or value them as much? Tell the PRC in a polite way that you will admit the ROC and tell the ROC that the PRC will also be a member. Let both countries (yes-I think they are both countries) decide if they can accept those terms. Same goes for the UN.

Why should the USA support an organization that is so disrespectful to an ally?
