Nice to see a president giving an actual coherent speech that isn't all about it. Holy moly is it refreshing.

Did he just make a glancing blow at our winter of discontent?
"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

Can't Biden just reverse it immediately?

Because they're all monsters too, and have spent the last four years abetting his crimes.

Well, I guess we can still give Barron the benefit of the doubt.

A presidential speech that doesn't aim to divide people, to rile people up, or to inflate their own ego. Nice.

I wonder why he didn't pardon Assange, Snowden and Manning as his last acts? They'd be good and really enrage the people in the federal government, including Biden.

Oh well. Last vindictive gasp of a truly pathetic presidency. Good riddance.

Who wrote "reward work" into his speech? That's not a Joe-friendly phrase.

I thought he was dull at first, but he's warmed up :)

Yep.

I heard he's planning to make a large number of reversals on Trump's most divisive policies in his first days in office.

Which sounds like a fitting conclusion to Trump's presidency.

Including Senate Republicans. Trump seemed genuinely afraid of angering the GOP enough to vote against him in the impeachment trial.

I included the reasons. You don't think China posts negative news about the USA in an effort to make themselves look good? How is it racist? China is a country just like Lyme is a city in Connecticut. If the virus was from the USA and Europeans called it the USA Virus, would that also be racist?

I also said I favor focusing on Wuhan because China is huge. I doubt this will be the last virus that comes from the huge nation and heavily populated nation of China.
