It might be BS in practice, but that's pretty much the standard that currently exists.

"Freedom of speech" doesn't currently extend to forcing companies to host speech they don't want to host, so "go make your own platform" is really the only existing recourse.

But with Trumps constant bashing of Facebook and Twitter and after the Capitol Riot they came to view Trump as an existential threat.
