Some 56% of Republicans believe that QAnon, a far-right conspiracy theory, is mostly or partly true, according to a new Daily Kos/Civiqs poll released Wednesday, a remarkably high number considering many of the outlandish assertions espoused by QAnon supporters.

That is indeed, remarkably high, I usually say on any given issue 25% of the population is batshit insane but this is double that. It's perhaps one of the weirdest conspiracy theories to take such a grip on one end of the political spectrum.

Nonono. Q says he's just letting Biden think he's the President until March the 4th, because apparently that makes sense in the clown world these people live in.

march 4th was when inaugurations used to be, back when the fastest transportation was horse
remember, the Qanon space is crossing over with Sovereign Citizens now

I wonder how long it will take for the Qanon people to get bored of being wrong all the time.

I think the closest comparison I've seen made is to the Dreyfus affair, but it doesn't quite line up nicely as a comparison

I mean, given that Republicans are less than half of the population, that’s almost exactly 25%. I guess your saying still holds true :p

Good they should be. Get competent people in there who didn’t try to sabotage an election.

Virginia Gop is in turmoil and at an impasse over how to conduct their convention this year. State law allows for a party to hold a convention as opposed to a primary when multiple candidates file.

"...I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." -MLK Jr.

The senate is tied. They had to reach an agreement on how to share power.

No, the Vice President is supposed to break the tie, and life is supposed to move on. Why are you acting like this is how it's always been, when they're literally making it up as they go? There's no precedent for this shit, it's not some ancient rite that's integral to our political system or culture. This is weird and bad and I'm not going to be gaslit into thinking that it's just ordinary run of the mill stuff for the winners of an election to be unable to exercise their clear governing majority in the legislature

They do break the tie on Votes . The senate was tied once before after the 2000 elections and they reached a power sharing agreement then too.

How is a tie a clear governing majority?

MAGA Patriot Party files with Federal Election Commission

It seems that Trump is making his move, although there is no official confirmation of his affliation with the party, yet.

Wow hes actually doing it. 2022 is going to be fun if it gets any traction. It could potentially turn into gains for Democrats.

Provided the Democrats don't fuck it up... but I'm going to think positive.
