If you think minimum wage should be $15, why not raise it to $20 or $25 an hour instead? It sounds nice raising the minimum wage until it just makes people with salaries of $40,000 a year the new underclass.

Better to create a national health care system instead of raising the minimum wage which better protects poor people from inflation.

National healthcare, while nice, doesn't help with rent or food.

And the point of raising it to $15 is that would actually make it so working 40 hours a week supports people above the poverty line.

You do realize the minimum wage hasn't changed in decades right?

I would not call this a fascist coup though. But hey let us compromise: let us balkanise the US. Liberals, conservstives. Blacks, Jews, whites... Everybody gets their part of the country.

When a bunch of losers are walking around in Camp Auschwitz and Six Million Wasn't Enough shirts yeah it was a fascist coup attempt. Good thing they're a bunch of brainlets who couldn't do much actual harm.

So like apartheid or a full split? Either way, it's a dumb idea.

It is not my job to help the govt. catch him unless I choose to make it my job.

Caning properly is not the same as beating the daylights out of them. I am not advocating police using batons to beat prisoners' heads in or sodomizing prisoners (as NYC police did before).

I already understand you're a coward already.

But I can't tell if you are trying to place more or less trust in the government.

Am I a coward for choosing family over government and believing in 'omerta' or am I a coward because I would justifiably fear being raped and beaten if I went to prison and would rather be caned and have a safe prison cell to sleep in instead? I guess you are right. I would be a coward when it comes to being a prisoner in the USA. US prisons are like torture camps in a way (only the fellow prisoners are the ones doing most of the torturing).

People who live in rejection of reality aren't the kind of people I'd ask to describe events.

While I appreciate you sharing your fantasies with the class but I really don't care that much.

Dunno if it’s been posted about already, but Biden is elevating his science advisor to a cabinet-level position for the first time.

I am not really a fan of Trump though. The issue is not revolving around him. The issue is that the democratic institutions have failed. If SCOTUS at least look up the case, and even concluded that the elections were not rigged than that would be fine.

I am just pointing out, if Biden supporters can riot, than you should not complain when Trump supporters stormed the Capitol, and even try to remove the tyrannical government.

The only tyranny was a bunch of room temp IQ thugs storming the building that probably symbolizes American democracy more than anything else.

For someone who's not a fan of Trump you certainly seem to enjoy repeating his unfounded claims

It clearly is.

I believe it has been, though I could be wrong.

How have the democratic institutions failed?

You must have missed the 60+ court cases that dismissed the claims of fraud for lack of evidence.

You’re in luck, the only two dissents to the dismissal of the Texas case on grounds of standing argued that SCOTUS should take the case, but only to make clear that it would fail on the merits. That conclusion was already made. Besides, the vast majority of cases that could go to the Supreme Court never do, they are handled by lower courts—are all those decisions less valid for some reason too?

Yeah. Pretty much.

Instead of turning your brother in, you would prefer to be complacent in domestic terrorism. You should be a bit afraid of going to jail.

You are not a fan and yet you believe his lies? Hmmmmm? You can drop the pretense and embrace it.

Oh the fact SCOTUS refused the case, pretty much tells you how great was the evidence.
