If you think minimum wage should be $15, why not raise it to $20 or $25 an hour instead? It sounds nice raising the minimum wage until it just makes people with salaries of $40,000 a year the new underclass.
Better to create a national health care system instead of raising the minimum wage which better protects poor people from inflation.
National healthcare, while nice, doesn't help with rent or food.
And the point of raising it to $15 is that would actually make it so working 40 hours a week supports people above the poverty line.
You do realize the minimum wage hasn't changed in decades right?
