This can mean a lot of things. Taking back your country might mean supporting certain candidates, signing petitions to recall tyrannical governors, peacefully protesting against tyrannical policies, and boycotting certain businesses. This might be what he meant. We can 'take back the nation' without breaking the law.

But right after he said that the people he was speaking to did, in fact, break the law.

Lol. He wasn’t talking to any of that. He can’t handle being a loser so obviously the election was stolen and that is why he was all giddy when the insurrection happened. He was the accelerant and took pride in it happening.

Correction: They should be able to do that. I'm sure if Trump said "the election was stolen and your commanders are traitors who need to be killed," someone would be stupid enough to try.

It wouldn't work but imagine what may happen. You should know by now therm that in Trump world the rules and regulations don't apply and aren't followed.

I think they saw in rather material terms how it went last time they tried.

Trump never did that and he was banned.

Of course he did. He lied for months riling up his supporters and had them rally at the Capitol where he talked about showing ¨strength¨ and ¨taking back your country¨ and even said they needed to ¨fight like hell.¨ And when Rudy Giuliani talked about ¨trial by combat¨ and Lin Wood outright said Pence should be executed(something rioters at the Capitol talked about) Trump never publicly condemned that shit afaIk.

The riot was incited by Trump, it was his lies that caused it. Even if you think legally he cannot be charged with it, it is unquestionable that his lies of voter fraud caused it.

no, no, he didn't incite it, in fact, if we cherrypick juuuuuuuust enough and bludgeon context to death with the stars and stripes we could say that when he refused to order additional troops to flush the insurrectionists out of the capitol such that pence had to work around him, his hands were just literally tied by melania while they were busy reenacting a scene out of the iliad

with donald as a very muscular 239-pound zeus and melania as... shit, it scans

Then my family didn't get the full memo, and some entirely ignored it. For instance, some are now boycotting companies like Amazon because Bezos helped Biden according to them; they'll be leaving FB soon. They're very salty right now and I haven't heard a single condemnation of the violence. They did blame ANTIFA for that, however. I've given up saving them at this point.

In what way are companies obligated to make political donations? Surely if companies having power is bad, then not obligating them to provide political donations would be good, yes?

Also, donations are being withdrawn from those who opposed certifying the election.
