Not going to happen. Many people are sheep that like the security felt from big brother controlling them. many also don't believe in personal responsibility. If you spill hot coffee on yourself or become obese from eating too many McDonald's hamburgers, or get scared by a movie poster and fall down the stairs, it is the fault of a big company and not your fault.

Libertarians want to treat adults like actual adults and that is too scary for most people (worldwide-not just the USA).

Libertarians have been trying to be main stream for oh shoot.....since I was at uni. They haven’t achieved much in all that time.

It’s almost like it’s some kind of hipster thing so they can say they aren’t republicans.

There are huge differences. Foreign invasions and the Patriot Act are just 2 major differences among many.

The idea of libertarianism is not a brand new idea. Sadly, it is not mainstream enough. I suppose it is better to send people to several years in prison for stealing a slice of pizza (Jerry Dewayne Williams), give away money to foreign nations that hate us (ex. Pakistan), ban people from renting out their homes which they 'own', ban young men from buying and drinking beer but treat them as adults if they steal alcohol, and invade foreign nations that did nothing to the USA (ex. Iraq, Vietnam). All of these ideas are supported by many republicans and democrats and reasons they are both dangerous parties.

Overall, 52.6% support impeachment while 41.8% oppose it. Among those supporting removal, 84.2% of Democrats support it while 48% of Independents and 15.2% do when broken down.

If we to compare what his numbers were in his first impeachment, here they are:

49.4% supported impeachment while 45.6% opposed it by the end of said first impeachment. Among those supporting removal, 84.3% of Democrats support it while 42.2% of Independents and 9% do when broken down.

The Ukraine Scandal showed the public was more closely divided as 95% of Americans had an opinion on the topic and were deeply divided; that divide was 3.8 points. Same holds true for the number for opinion size: 94.4% have an opinion, statistically unchanged. However, the numbers supporting impeachment climbed 3.2% points while there was a 3.8% point drop for opposing it, making the divide bigger at 10.8 points.

So to conclude, Trump standing worst, especially since more independents and Republicans support his removal; Democrats are about the same.

Also his approval rating has plummented not the lowest in his term but it has taken a big ass hit.

Actually all of it was about liability of companies, it's part of a much broader attack on the right of individuals to sue companies under Tort law. Many American libertarians seem like “conservatives who like weed,” who abandon their scruples and vote for any old Republican who comes along. There are a few principled libertarians who I at least respect, even if I strongly disagree with them, but they’re few and far between.

Many people feel 'trapped' by the two party system and vote for the lesser of two evils. Perhaps an election similar to how awards are voted in baseball could allow minor parties to gain votes. For example, people could be allowed to have 2nd and 3rd place choices and these would count as 0.5 and 0.3 votes (an example). People would then be less afraid of casting a second place vote for a candidate they like more.

Another idea is allow seats based on percentage of votes. If a minor party captures 10% of the vote, they could get 10% of the seats. I believe some European nations have a similar multiparty system.
