Other countries in Europe and East Asia have done just fine without having a 2nd Amendment. That said, as long as it hasn't been repealed, we have to observe it to some degree in order to be consistent with the principle of rule of law.

I saw the WSJ did release this article though I couldn't read much given I'm not paying big bucks for a newspaper that cost money. That said, I think they were the first editorial board calling on Trump to either resign or be impeached. Could be wrong.
