Or, both are bad.
The government shouldn't have the power to off even one guy just because of dissent. You could easily argue that the CCP interning the masses and the CCP disappearing this guy are the same problem.

It is very easy to access through apps and with ads targeting the most vulnerable population e.g. new graduates. Not sure you know how US banks used to lure college student to sign up credit cards? The loan is then packaged as asset and sold to the third party and transfer the risk to society. In other words, they don't even need so much money themselves to give a loan. Sounds similar to the housing crisis in 2008. The government wants it to increase the ratio of their money in the loan amount.
He was publicly saying "996" (12 hours work time from 9am to 9pm for 6 days a week) is a something like gift to people and working class should appreciate it.
His selling platform has exclusive clause for small business owners. So if the owners sell stuff on Jack Ma's platform, they cannot sell somewhere else. It is anti-competitive.
C: It should be noted that "996" for salaried employees is illegal under Chinese labor law, but regulators were willing to look the other way as long as the economy is growing and the right palms are greased. For Jack Ma to go on the record and say what he said (essentially admitting to and even encouraging illegal labor practices) was extremely stupid.
D: since when did the CCP care about labor practices?
C: My point is that they don't necessarily care about illegal labor practices per se, but they do care when someone (especially someone as prominent as Jack Ma) draws attention to the fact that regulators aren't doing anything about a practice that is at the same time widespread and, at least on paper, illegal.
What makes this even funnier is that Ma is literally the opposite of a bleeding-heart labor activist. It's like a bank robber holding a press conference and saying "Hey look at me, I rob people, in fact everyone should rob people because it's better for society and better for the people being robbed". Even if you had some prior arrangement with the cops (the CCP in this example) to look the other way, by putting out this statement you are drawing attention to the fact that they're looking the other way.
Of course, as B already mentioned, this is just one of many things that the CCP is pissed at Ma for.

You raise a good point about his comments on the 996 issue. That was pretty stupid of him to do. He's been given some pretty generous leeway in the past by the government but it wasn't limitless.

It is worth noting that collateral for loans that target young women age 18 to 25 is often nude photos with a copy of her ID and home ( parents) address. If she fails to meet the loan requirements things get sold to porn sites.

Probably not, because financial assets are much more fluid in their value than gold. The Sherpa Empire wrote:This reminds me of Sulla's proscriptions. I wonder if someone in government just wanted an excuse to take some of that money for themselves.

Jack Ma is a standard Wall Street capitalist, this kind of devil knows how to profit through the system and finance, he will be fine .
But if this devil really hanged on the street lamp, I will have greater confidence in China's future.
So the CCP won't let me be or let me be me so let me see, they tried to shut me down on CBC but it feels so empty without me.

The CCP should be replaced by a better party, would you agree?

what kind of better party ?
I can't imagine a better party look like ,
A democratic party ultimately maintains its rule by inciting conflicts and transferring conflicts ?
A party controlled by big capital will transfer its work to Africa or Southeast Asia and hand the country to a financial evil like Wall Street.
Or is it to be trapped between various parties and then take ten years to build a subway?
China is too close to Russia and Japan. Given the weakness of democracy, Only a more authoritarian party will replace CCP, not a more democratic and free one.
