Well, please convince Sinostatists that this highly non-traditional form of governance is in fact China. Since they don’t consider it China nor do I. After all etymology of the word “China” in most languages is from the brutal Qin dynasty. The Middle country is pretty non-descriptive and bad as well. It will have to have new names in both English and Mandarin that do not contain Sinostatist references. All the provinces will have to be renamed states and restructured along cultural, not geographical lines.

I agree. However the words “Germany” and “Russia” are not inherently problematic since they are from names of ethnic groups, not statist entities. However the word “China” is not fine. A good analog here is the words “Ottoman” and “Turkey”. The word “Turkey” is not statist while the word “Ottoman” is since it is the name of a Sultan.
