Ultimately I think America's problem with China is that they are is trying to focus on an outdated political model i.e. status as a global superpower, when that is becoming more of a vague concept.

Both China and India will eventually overtake the United States based on shear population and economic development, though in terms of per capita income and average monthly income they are far behind even the most poor of European countries. China won't realistically make a dent on those statistics for decades, as it takes a very long time for individual citizens and families to develop savings and disposable income, versus the economic elites and political leaders.

What would suit America better than trying to 'contain' China, would be to focus on fixing internal problems i.e. the deficit, poverty, decaying infrastructure, and the education and health system.

Policy makers fret about the US losing it's 'super-power status', even though that status only lasted the brief period after the Soviet Union collapsed and into the early 2000s.

China won't be the sole super-power either though, as that would require the EU and US declining to a point that is unrealistic i.e. total economic and political collapse. Not to mention such an analysis would have to ignore the development of India and nations in South America.

China and its centralized and authoritarian political system have to be abolished. People there need to know that there is another way of life and that people do not have to bow down before bureaucrats.

China as a political tradition and system are similar to the Nazi system for Germans and the Soviet system for Russians. All three tend to murder a lot of people. It is possible for ethnic Han people to reject China in the same sense that it is possible for ethnic Germans to reject Nazism. Abolition of China is necessary so that the people and the land (due to pollution) can begin to heal.

However we have to understand the problem at a deeper level. Why the fucking hell could they have taken power?

The problem is that people in China historically have endured way too much mistreatment to the point that mistreatment is simply normal and anything that is slightly better than that looks like mercy. People have been conditioned into obeying whoever treat them the worst.

This issue due to China not being 100% isolated is very disruptive to global norms. A rights-based world can only work if worse treatment leads to worse consequences for the persecutor. China is sufficiently large and strong that it is historically pretty much immune to outside pressure on its treatment of its own subjects. Moreover the imperial examinations allow the ambitious plebs to rise to power, further stabilizing the system by co-opting potential Martin Luther Kings. It’s a very long-term problem which is why China has to be abolished or a variant of its own imperial system can infect the rest of the world.

It just means that Internet celebrities will need to have recognised credentials in oncology (for example) before making claims about managing lung cancer.

At the end of the day, this isn't really applicable to most people. It's for those who have a certain amount of social influence. Their power can be used to do great things, but it can also do a lot of harm to people's lives.
