Moral of the story: never allow traditionalists to define or invent terms. Most people support or oppose stuff without digging into it. Instead they merely care about the tribal signaling hence wording matters even more than the content. The very fact that TCM is allowed to call itself 中医 (Chinese medicine) as opposed to 旧医 (old medicine) makes it impossible to rationally discuss the issue of effectiveness of TCM in China without screaming radical ethnats derailing it.

The railroad system in Dalian, northern China, collapsed citywide on Tuesday for up to 20 hours after the Adobe Flash programing software stopped running.

Adobe had announced as early as 2017 that it would cease support for the multimedia software on Dec. 30 last year. The American software company eventually ended the operation of all Flash content on Tuesday.

Tuesday’s chaos arose after China Railway Shenyang failed to deactivate Flash in time, leading to a complete shutdown of its railroads in Dalian, Liaoning province. Staffers were reportedly unable to view train operation diagrams, formulate train sequencing schedules and arrange shunting plans.

Authorities fixed the issue by installing a pirated version of Flash at 4:30 a.m. the following day.

Nah. The Soviet Union was nowhere as evil as China in terms of the percentage of people they murdered. The need for China to be abolished has nothing to do with communism nor does it have anything to do with its size. Even a China with area 1km^2 is 1 km^2 too many.

Without neoliberals China will still remain China. The right approach is viewing China as something similar to Nazi Germany or American slavery, some entity that structurally strongly distorts global social norms and that to protect these norms such entities have to be abolished.

For example the existence of China is inherently incompatible with the concept of human rights for it encourages everyone to take power at any costs and enjoy oppressing others as opposed to standing for shared norms and equal rights (e.g. civil rights movement).
