People are born in different realms based on their past conduct, the vast majority being reborn in the ghost, hell, and animal realms, with a very limited few achieving a human birth and even fewer entering heaven. The human and heavenly births are the best because it allows you to meet a Buddha or hear the Dhamma and enter the road to Nibbana. This is one reason that generosity is so popular in Buddhist countries because charity means that one will be reborn as a deva and continue to benefit in future lives.

No, Nibbana isn't not-existing, that viewpoint was rejected with the other existential questions about what happened to the arhat after death (ancient Indians had four different categories: existence, nonexistence, both, and neither). I think they still refers to the soul.The essence of life in samsara is still the same individual. But the data will be cleared during reincarnation.I personally think that the so-called subconscious is just an old storage space. The brain may exist in a garbage collection mechanism similar to JVM.

Imagine this, lets say that you are part of the lucky few that can talk to your God/gods. That's right, not only talk to but ask questions and see him ( I say Him since I don't want to say It and its out of convivence ... my god does not have a gender at least in my beliefs)! So what would you ask God/gods? And what answer would you expect from God/gods. I would personally ask him what he does usually, since I kind of wonder that. I would assume he would say that he enjoys watching his creation and listening to their prayers . But that's just me.
