Let I, cut to the chase. People in poverty are probably doing terribly. Rich people probably doing great. The middle-class some probably declaring bankruptcy due to unemployment and others probably still employed. But this is just what I suppose had happened.

Anyways, I'd like to know how you're faring during this pandemic, do tell.

Pretty well... I think too well. Why? Well my parents got COVID like around March and my dad felt really heavy. But he was never on a ventilator and kept his job since he worked from home. My mom was an essential worker as well and all was good. I finished school and such and had plenty of entertainment. Now my parents said the COVID is not that and since they or nobody that they knew died from it. I know however that the COVID is bad since in USA we have 300,000 deaths already...

Yeah, a lot of foolish descions by the government, it’s a literal joke how serious they are taking it, expect for the fact that’s not a joke. I mean my dad once walked into a gas station mask less because he felt too lazy to get it. My dad said that masks stop the breathing and then made this conspiracy about Biden being part of the Mafia....

Pretty good safe in my home and gated community. I am pretty sure we will all have to relearn social skills after this is over.

Downright horribly, mostly the fault of virtual school.

With the quarantine itself, I'm perfectly fine, although I can't say the same about my friends.

I'm doing okay, I suppose. The pandemic really hit home for me back at the start of the year; I live in Albany, Georgia and here there were two super spreader events that spread Covid all over the area before anyone knew what happened. My great-aunt and one of my mother's best friends died from Covid and so did some other people in our lives. Financially, we've been blessed, though; my mother and brother both work retail jobs and so they kept working even through the lockdowns, which is one positive at least. The only thing that's really changed for me is having to wear masks when I leave the house.

Okay, I guess.

Pandemic hasn't directly affected me much. Wasn't really all that social pre-COVID, and my education has been fine since it re-started. Worst thing that has probably happened is my mental health has gone completely down the drain, thanks in part to COVID.

Could be better, but could be a hell of a lot worse.

We just finished online classes. My mum is the breadwinner as an elementary school principal. Dad and I look after the home when she's out for work. I'm mulling streaming games on Facebook (and to Twitch and YouTube eventually) to try and supplement our income.

Last late September to early October, both my parents got COVID-19. Dad was sent to an isolation centre (where he shared a classroom with like, three other people), mum was confined (her symptoms weren't quite severe but she was immunocompromised that she needed regular attention and sending her to an isolation centre would only make her condition worse)

While there is life, there is hope.

I overall have been doing well. My sister, brother in law and sister in law got coronavirus but it was very mild. They were all essential workers. My mother has been working at home but got another job in person. School has been going well. I can’t complain except for technical difficulties but they aren’t bad. To be honest I have had no problem being at home. It’s been quite calm and peaceful. I don’t miss my friends at all. Nationstates has been keeping me occupied so that is good. Also weekly take out has also kept me going. So overall I have been doing well.

Well, I'm fortunate enough to still have a job despite the pandemic, and my area is in the lowest tier of restrictions here in the UK. So I'm coping fairly well.

My partner works for an essential service, so he's also managed to keep his job going throughout all this.

My parents only work 10 hours a day at best and I'm footing the bills. My job still won't give us emergency pay again and I can't even go out to the bar on the weekends because they're closed.

Pretty much alright, I think; and personally much better than before the virus hit in March; for a start, no in-person school (explanation: life there put an ungodly amount of stress on me, not to mention social life being comprised of rigid cliques of people who already knew each other, & outsiders simply having no chance).

Might sound petulant compared to the other responses on this thread, but that's my personal take.
