Owtch. Touchée . Honestly though, we already lost the high ground when it came to concentration camps. "Ours" are even worse than the ones in the USA. And it is even worse than that, living circumstances in WW2 concentration camps were actually bétter than those in the camps in Lesbos , the only "redeeming virtue" of Moria over their counterparts is that Moria lacks gas chambers. I am not even talking hyperbole here, it is actually that bad there.

And there is hardly anything about it in the media. Honestly, to find the moral ground in present-day Western Europe... one would have to dig.

New poll out, and its quite the surprise. It shows a dip for the Greenleft, the VVD is back to a 35 seat prediction, the PvdD has had a huge surge, and are polling at 8 seats! Bij1 has also broke through and may very well win their first ever seat.

Hmm....35's pretty much been VVDs average for about 10 months now. Looking at the others in his government, CDA and D66 seem to just be trading supporters even with CDA's increased rhetoric against the coalition they're in. I honestly thought the child allowance mess would've hurt VVD more than this.

Nothing hurts the VVD, their voter base was not really affected by this scandal, nor do they care about it.

Seriously: decency and integrity are only important for left-wing politicians. Not there's no corruption on that side, but if they are exposed, their voter base will eat them alive. The VVD, meanwhile, has led the rankings for the number of corrupt and immoral politicians for nine years in a row now, and by a significant margin, too! But they are still firmly in power, and are already almost guaranteed to win the elections in March. I find that really depressing.

Those shields are surprisingly effective and hard to break.
If one part gets damaged, the rest of the construction takes the blow, and the stab proof layer around it holds it all together.
