https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/531 ... ed-in-2022

Trump is lashing out at Senator John Thune the no 2 Senare Republican saying he will be primaried in 2022 and will back his challenger. Go for it Trump. Tell your followers not to vote for anyone who didnt recognize you as the legitimate winner.

Trump wrote in a tweet "Republicans in the Senate so quickly forget. Right now they would be down 8 seats without my backing them in the last Election,” Trump tweeted. “RINO John Thune, ‘Mitch’s boy’, should just let it play out. South Dakota doesn’t like weakness. He will be primaried in 2022, political career over!!!”

There are also rumors Majorie Greene is considering launching a primary challenge to Kemp in 2022.

Presumably the Congress piggies are supposed to please Republican voters.

AP news wrote:Collins [NY rep], the first member of Congress to endorse Trump to be president, was sentenced to two years and two months in federal prison after admitting he helped his son and others dodge $800,000 in stock market losses when he learned that a drug trial by a small pharmaceutical company had failed.

Hunter [CA rep] was sentenced to 11 months in prison after pleading guilty to stealing campaign funds and spending the money on everything from outings with friends to his daughter’s birthday party.

This will be seen more as a favor to the Party than particularly something voters want. Trump voters might like a bit of corruption, but almost no-one else does.

Well, "lockdown" isn't working for the United States based on the criticisms I've seen. I knew people who are dead now after being as isolated as physically possible. Only people they'd come into contact with since this thing started are nurses. Forgive me if I have reservations about lesser measures being any more effective.

There are many who think mask wearing is some kind of political statement or the first step to establishing big brother.

It’s simply an inconvience.

Papadopolous clearly colluded with Russians, and up until now the "Russia hoax" people have hung their hat on him having no connection to Trump.

But a pardon isn't collusion. Or at least I don't think it is. It's not like anyone would think "hey, I'll break the law in a way that helps the big man, no expectation of a pardon in return, I'll just do it out of the corruption of my own heart". Hmmph.

They died, from the 'rona, despite the isolation, 'pologies if I wasn't clear there. I don't think isolation can kill people outside of mental health concerns. The fact that they did, while anecdotal, makes me even more against any of these other measures.

I mean you say it yourself. Anecdotal. Yeah, isolation will never be perfect for 100% of the population, but if we (for example) gave people stimulus money and used the military to deliver groceries & the like in areas with severe outbreaks, we might be in a better place
