Donald Trump is a conman, a snake oil salesman, an anti-intellectual demagogue who somehow is able to convince his followers to attempt a terrorist coup. Worst than that, he's proud of it. Throughout his whole life, he is a swindling cheat who has no consistent moral values, a grifter of the highest order, a man whose entire political career is oppositional even when he is president. A wannabe fascist whose supporters are thankfully too incompetent to even do a coup right, a greasy palmed buddy of Jeffrey Epstein, and by far the prime example of wealth not being achieved through hard work but inheritance and opportunism.

He's gone. His career is over. Even if he somehow escapes prosecution, he will go down as a lead balloon in the annals of contemporary history.

After what happened on Tuesday and Wednesday, I don't think I can call myself a Trump supporter any longer. Until now, I have always considered Donald Trump and his supporters to be the more peaceful and tolerant side compared to the much more violent, intolerant, anti-free speech, anti-democratic Left. Not anymore. Now, they've crossed a line.

For the first time ever, Donald Trump and his supporters in D.C. are actually guilty of inciting and enacting riotous violence and threatening democracy. Now, they are no better than equally violent, anti-democratic Antifa/BLM rioters on the far-left, and Republicans and Democrats alike are absolutely right to condemn the violence, although Joe Biden, his party colleagues, and the MSM are hypocrites for waiting till now to finally condemn seditious mob violence when they have had more than half a year to do so instead of labeling critics of Antifa and BLM as racists, fascists, pro-police sympathizers, shills for dictatorships, and "fundamentally dishonest actors" like they did to me last year. It's supremely ironic to hear Joe Biden et al. calling for law and order now. Defund the police? I don't think so.

Trump rioters and Antifa/BLM rioters should be severely dealt with in equal measure without anyone being labeled a traitor or a fascist, respectively. This condemnation of Trump rioters has also extended to those who would normally be sympathetic, such as Megyn Kelly and Lauren Southern judging from my Twitter feed.

For the first time ever, I agree with Facebook and Twitter's decision to remove some of Trump's controversial posts and suspend him from their platforms. It's one thing to spread lies and misinformation about an election or a pandemic. I don't believe misinformation should be censored provided the accounts are authentic. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and all sides should be heard. But if you actively incite violence or threaten people or groups of people, FB and Twitter have every right to ban you permanently.

Donald Trump just cost Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue their seats in the Senate, giving the Democrats complete control of the legislature, the executive, and potentially, via the Senate, the judiciary. He has denied Republicans the ability to provide a meaningful check and balance in Congress. Many of his own staff have resigned in disgust. Mike Pence's safety and the safety of other moderate Republicans, some of whom I respect and admire, were put on the line that day. They are right to turn their backs on him in response to the Georgia losses and the Capitol riots. Donald Trump is a political liability and I won't hold it against them if they vote to remove him from office less than two weeks ahead of schedule. Or not. It's entirely up to them. Thankfully, it appears that the President's last-ditch attempt at a self-coup has backfired spectacularly.

I'm thoroughly disappointed in the President, his formerly peaceful hardcore supporters, and the multiracial Proud Boys whose black Cuban leader was arrested earlier. Donald Trump was awesome before he lost the election. Now, he's nothing more than a pathetic whiner who has just dug an early grave. Sucks to be him right now.
