They sure are. They would further accelerate inevitable developments in the one or other direction and fulfill unwittigly a specific role within the greater picture.
Of course an Andrew Yang might be the much better alternative, because he skips several steps ahead.Nekostan-e Gharbi wrote:

American definition of race is total nonsense.
It even ignores the spanish casta system. lol

Biden lost among all age and income groups for black people too though.
It was literally the retirement home white males abandoning trump en masse. Again; he gained among *every single other demographic*.
He didn't though.
He actually got most of the black vote for example. (Even with Kamala, one of the most hated women in by the black population, as his running mate)

I'm watching it on NPR on Facebook.

Well, listening.
Also, Ben Sasse is being the absolute definition of uncanny valley. I have no clear idea about how to interpret it.

Yeah, it's bizarre just listening to these words.

It's not the paramount topic anymore due Covid-19 and other factors. It's still present though.
Trump and the GOP lost because they focussed on playing the race and ideology card and failed in practical terms, not just a bit but desastrously. The poor handling of Covid-19 cost Trump the presidency.
