Oh I dont doubt random acts of violence occurring, its already happened in some areas, I am more mocking this idea of some coordinated insurgency I have seen some people suggesting. I dont doubt there will be acts of violence and civil unrest, but any kind of actual uprising is just so far fetched to me.

Honestly, I think more than a bit of the inspiration for this strategy comes from alternate history fiction. Take a real situation and players, rewrite the narrative to fit your creative vision, and package it as a true account.

Not that I blame that genre for this, but I don't think its recent popularity was a coincidence.

Hmm, so Barr is leaving, on the 23rd to be exact, and on the Day the Electoral College voted for Biden. He currently has 302; Trump 232. Only Hawaii hasn't cast their electoral votes. That all but means Trump's options of overturning the results is gone.

Only if you have faith in the rule of law. Mine is holding, but I gotta say it's not as strong as it was a couple months ago. I don't think he has a realistic path to ultimately hold onto power, but he can cause massive damage to our democracy in the meantime and he's shown no reluctance to do so yet.

You gotta thank the separation of powers and the constitution for that, our democracy has gone through the test of time and many hardships, but it has always persevered. There are those who say America isn’t a democracy, sure, but they are then ignoring what the world’s non democratic countries are like, for example:
