Yesturday, when I was doing a delivery, I drove to the delivery address first, rather than the pick up address **face palm**, good job mate, you did a stupid! Fortunately, I didn't actually get out of my car before realising my error, and the pick up address was only 15 min away, so no one actually noticed

An integral part of living somewhat successfully is the ability to correct your mistakes before other people find out you done goofed up.

Fortunately, these two addresses were pretty close, usually, my pick up and delivery addresses are at least an hour away. I don't know what happened yesturday, I've never made that before, I've made other mistakes, but not that one

And the entire time you have to bear in mind that this book occurs in a time and place where Dracula is not one of the most iconic horror characters of all time, so Johnathan Harker brushing off all the locals who clearly don't want him to go to Dracula's castle makes sense in context.
