Gamer move: I couldn't get bus from Porvoo to Kouvola for Friday so I am taking train from Helsinki on Friday morning. But instead of planning to wake early for Friday morning bus to raiway station like sensible and frugal person, I'll be staying thu-friday night in hotel in Helsinki.

I legitimately believe that spending an evening chilling in a hotel is a nice way to decompress.

I once booked a room just to get out of the house. Spent most of the evening reading and drinking white russians in the hotel bar. I also took a bath for the first time in forever, since I only have a shower myself.

I feel the same way, and missed my single room. I should have gotten that room longggg ago. Mind you, it's not because of my roommates either, they have been fine.
