Well, I also read that side effects for the COVID vaccine get fewer as you get older (according to a report I found, "younger adults generally mount a stronger immune reaction to vaccines in general". Because my Dad didn't have any side effects, so he was concerned it meant it hadn't worked, so I looked it up.
No record of side effects after vaccination, but research coming out of Israel suggests Pfizer (which I'm guessing you had) is 85% effective after one dose at stopping symptomatic COVID (between 15 and 28 days). Mrs mermania didn't have any side effects to her second shot, I did gleefully bring her a similar article.
Especially since I had mild ones.
