That's some fine snark that misses the point - yeah, Israel and Hezbollah hate each others' guts, but the question is "how much?" because Hezbollah might take over Lebanon eventually, and if Hezbollah views Israel as a threat to their very existence, they might focus on harassing Israel rather than improving lives in Lebanon. Israel is making a gamble that they can take out even Hezbollah cells in Syria to allow non-Hezbollah Lebanese forces a chance to stand. What if the gamble fails?

These attacks are generally done because Israel see it as a preemptive strike against those who pose a risk to their sovereignty.

Yeah I know, it's just that everything is always on the edge there, it's all a hot mess oh multilateral conflicts and horrible diplomatic decisions, needless wars and deaths for nothing. Israel isn't going to disappear nor are the Palestinians, its about time they find a solution for these two countries and then try to calm down the neighborhood. Then again it's all very complex and the diplomatic game so hard to play in that region that that I don't really think it's going to have peace anytime soon.
